He treats a wide range of clients, including those suffering from PTSD, depression, anxiety, relational conflicts and substance abuse. He continues to devote a large amount of his energy to assisting the under-served of our community, helping them find resources, learn life skills, develop better coping strategies and build self-reliance/initiative taking.Go to www.chironwellness.com and read more about the work and mission of Chiron Center for Wellness and to www.angelofgodproject.org to learn more about his non-profit arm.

On a quest for synergy – Abraham has for most of his adult life been harnessing human resources and creating a product worth more than the sum of its parts! Life coach, Counselor, Recording Artist, Author, former Catholic Priest, Teacher and Trailblazer, Abraham has traveled the country with a message that is both "classic and contemporary, always brimming with hope. He holds a Masters of Divinity, Masters of Religious Studies and PhD in Counseling. A singer since the age of three, he also plays piano and guitar and is working on a musical.

From 1995-2001, Abraham directed the Music Ministry of Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Baton Rouge, during which time, he wrote and produced his first cd, Angel of God.

To further his expertise, Dr. Abraham is now certified as a trainer of the Extended DISC - and is available to provide personal and team profiles to organizations that seek more effective use of human resources.

Dr. Nick's latest interests include helping grow a "green" economy, continuing to make Baton Rouge a more vibrant and progressive community and encouraging families of gays, bi-sexuals and lesbians to be more supportive and active in bringing down the walls of discrimination.

Dr. Nick's ability to galvanize people and his incisive way of "networking" individuals toward a "greater good" than self had him traveling the country for over ten years. However, in the Fall of 2005, when the gulf coast was devastated by hurricanes Katrina and Rita, Abraham began focusing most of his energy in the Recovery efforts and helping those who are suffering in the Baton Rouge area. Dr. Nick's latest work, which is a result of his work in the recovery effort is entitled  Resources for Living Well. A collection of 101 inspirational messages is available for purchase

Three years after his service to survivors of Katrina came to an end, Abraham turned his sights on supporting military families faced with multiple deployments and the psycho-social stressors therein.

Dr. Nick also continues to maintain a speaking schedule on any number of motivational and psycho-educational topics. To book Dr. Nick for an engagement, simply contact him.

DR. NICK'S WORKOver the years, Dr. Nick has helped hundreds through a blend of cognitive-behavioral, person-centered and psychoanalytic techniques, but always with an eye toward the spiritual aspects of our health,  helping people see both the fragility and resilience of the human spirit – as well as the importance of service to our brothers and sisters in greater need.

As a part of the Katrina recovery effort, Dr. Nick the researcher joined forces with a Mental Health Clinic in Western Australia, www.sentiens.com to conduct a first of its kind - a mental health clinical study to track the effects of choral singing on post-traumatic stress. Abraham served as the "on the ground" Research Director. He further called forth his love of music, composing  the Theme Song for the Hurricane Choir Project.

The Angel of God project came together literally in three days, thanks to the SYNERGY created by six key figures - all excellent in their respective fields and continues to grow in its vision to help people outgrow a system of dependency and generational poverty.
